This past Sunday was our annual Mom's weekend, and it was just as fun as always! We took our moms to Quarter Barrel for some artisan pizza and wine. Attendance was so great, that we ran out of chairs inside and had to add seating outside. We celebrated our amazing mothers until the next private party showed up, and then we headed back to the Evans Scholarship House. Fast forward to dinner in our living room that night with pasta catered by Miami University. Despite our food and drink choices that day, we were still in Oxford and not Italy. The food was once again delicious, and after dinner we got to show our moms all around our rooms that we totally didn't clean just before they showed up. Some decided to meet up at New Bar in Uptown, where the moms mingled with each other some more and dancing ensued. It was great to catch up with the people who have given us so much, and this was the least we could do to show our appreciation. So, watch out dads, you've got a good time coming.
